In 1990 Green Candle again forged new ground with The Lost Song - devised in residence at St Luke's School, Epping, in close collaboration with pupils of the school, all with moderate or severe learning difficulties.

The Lost Song toured with a workshop which preceded the performance. This prepared the children to take part in the grand finale with the company - joining in the search, exploring the strange and wonderful environment, balancing, rolling and tunnelling their way to the elusive lost song.
