Green Candle developed its unique working method further with SWAN, a collaboration with Ra Ra Zoo Circus and Watermans Arts Centre staged on the River Thames.

This large-scale production involved a company of 65, non-professional gymnasts, wheelchair dancers and canoeists, performing alongside professional dancers, musicians and circus artists.

Praised as a 'family spectacle with the power to disturb; a triumph!' by City Limits, SWAN was a fantastic mythic production, fusing Green Candle's distinctive mix of dance, song and music with aerial stunts, puppetry, acrobatics, pyrotechnics and aquatics.
