We are Green Candle Dance Company, a UK charity that believes everyone has the right to practice, learn, watch and appreciate dance, regardless of age or ability. Green Candle is a registered charity (No 801774) and company limited by guarantee (No 2266864). The registered address is Oxford House, Derbyshire Street, London E2 6HG

We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us about our services, to make a donation, or if you register to receive our email newsletter.

If you make a donation online or purchase a product from us, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations (for example the collection of Gift Aid). We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us.

Green Candle may share personal information, as necessary, with our service providers, agents or other relevant third parties so that we can provide the services you have asked for or to process your donations or to carry out any other obligations arising from any contract or agreement entered into between you and the Charity.

The Charity may also disclose personal information to other employees and/or volunteers including the Charity Trustees.

The Charity does not permit these parties to use such information for any other purpose than to perform the services they have been instructed to provide by us.

We may also need to disclose your information if required to do so by law.
