Green Candle Dance Company is seeking a female FREELANCE DANCE PHOTOGRAPHER with significant experience in teaching basic dance photography skills to young people.
Green Candle Dance Company is a leading dance company which specialises in dance in education and community settings. We are currently looking for a female dance photographer to deliver 2 workshops to pupils participating in our dance programme at a secondary school for girls.
The successful applicant will be required to lead 2 workshops in dance photography and simple editing techniques. A selection of the photographs produced by the participants will be displayed in an exhibition at the Oxford House Gallery in Bethnal Green. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to display her own photographs of the project, taken during the workshops and at a live performance, as part of the exhibition. This is a unique chance to work in the dance and education sector.
We expect the successful candidate to be open-minded and have a warm friendly persona. Candidates must have a current DBS certificate.
This is a paid position at a set fee of £240 for 2 workshops and inclusion in the exhibition. (Fee inclusive of travel expenses.)
